Zokyo Successfully Concludes Security Audit of the deBridge Protocol

Zokyo, a venture studio that builds, secures, and funds crypto, DeFi, and NFT projects, successfully completed the initial smart contract audit for deBridge. In short, Zokyo found a few minor security risks that the deBridge team either acknowledged or resolved.

deBridge hired Zokyo to perform a security audit on the smart contracts, which was completed on October 18th, 2021. The Zokyo team identified only minor issues with the smart contracts, and these were quickly addressed and properly fixed by deBridge.

Zokyo’s Security Team followed best practices and techniques to verify the implementation of deBridge Finance smart contracts. To do so, the code was reviewed line by line by their smart contract developers, documenting any issues as they were discovered. Part of this work included writing a unit test suite using the Hardhat testing framework.

Zokyo’s Security Team concluded that the smart contracts passed all security qualifications to be listed on digital asset exchanges. The testable code was 98.74%, above the industry standard of 95%. Overall, eight smart contracts were inspected and analyzed by Zokyo’s engineers. The audit report has now been made publicly available on Github here.

According to Zokyo’s Principal, Hartej,

We are pleased to have worked with deBridge on their audit. As the ecosystem transitions to a multi-chain future, cross-chain interoperability is a must. Our blockchain experts and cybersecurity experts conducted a thorough code review to ensure that all vulnerabilities were addressed. We look forward to continuing our collaboration.

According to deBridge’s co-founder, Alex Smirnov,

Our main priority at deBridge is protocol security, and the team is working nonstop to develop a reliable and secure protocol. Now we can focus on onboarding the numerous integrations and collaborations announced in recent months, thanks to Zokyo’s diligence and hard work.
