HyperEVM is live on deBridge
We’re excited to announce the support for HyperEVM, a general-purpose Ethereum Virtual Machine integrated into the Hyperliquid ecosystem.
HyperEVM is an Ethereum Virtual Machine harnessing the power of the HyperBFT consensus mechanism, part of the Hyperliquid L1. It also offers essential functionality for application development for all developers.
HyperEVM is designed to speed up transactions and scalability, using a Dual-block architecture that allows parallel EVM execution and interoperability with Hyperliquid L1. With deBridge, builders can bring any token to HyperEVM and link it with its Hyperliquid spot ticker.
What is dePort?
dePort is a secure asset custody solution, enabling anyone to securely port assets to any chain in a couple of clicks. This allows projects, builders, or dApps to port tokens from any chain to enable utility in the HyperEVM ecosystem.
With deBridge’s token custody solution, dePort, everyone can bring any token from the supported ecosystems on deBridge to HyperEVM, opening up access to Hyperliquid's deep liquidity and vast user base.
How can you port a token to HyperEVM?
Transferring a token between chains is simple and takes just a minute. It is important to note that all ported tokens have a 1:1 collateral backing on their native chain.
1. Port your asset to HyperEVM at https://app.debridge.finance/deport
2. Link the token to the EVM by sending a spot deploy action
Once a token is linked, it can be converted between native and EVM spot by sending the token to the system address (0x2222222222222222222222222222222222222222). This can be done on the L1 using a spotSend action and on the EVM using an ERC transfer.
