We’re thrilled to share that, after extensive amounts of testing, deBridge now offers support for Fantom, a permissionless, EVM-compatible, and open-source blockchain. We’d like to extend our gratitude to our community for their continued support along the way, and welcome Fantom users that have just discovered deBridge!

As a secure interoperability protocol, deBridge aims to unlock seamless cross-chain functionality for Fantom across DeFi, NFTs, GameFi, SocialFi, and more, unleashing better composability while driving innovation for deApps.

Today, developers can start using deBridge to power secure, seamless cross-chain experiences between Fantom and all supported chains.

Intro to Fantom

Founded in 2018, Fantom is a layer-1 smart contract platform aiming to offer high-throughput transactional capacity at low cost. The Fantom ecosystem has exhibited significant growth over the last year, with tens of thousands of daily active addresses and 200+ dApps as of today.

How can you get started today?

Currently the integration is geared towards builders and projects utilizing Fantom, with full support for dePort, deBridge’s native bridge for in-protocol assets, as well as generic cross-chain messaging. With these tools, developers can begin building highly composable applications to interconnect DeFi, NFT collections, or DAO protocols between Fantom and any other supported chains.

Upcoming plans

In the near future, deSwap will integrate Fantom to enable seamless cross-chain swaps between any arbitrary liquid tokens on Fantom and all supported chains. With deBridge’s transaction bundling capabilities, complex cross-chain interactions can be executed in a single transaction, giving users a truly seamless experience as they move between chains.
